No detail was missed and it made for a special start to the day.

We got a nice variety of homemade jams for breakfast, interesting salads we've never seen before. The location is great for hiking routes and also not far from Dresden (30min drive). The owner was very welcoming and provided very nice tips on local sights and hikes.

We were on Room 20 on the upper floor with perfect view of the church.

With a rooftop terrace boasting views of Lilienstein Mountain and the River Elbe, this hotel is centrally located in the town of Bad Schandau on the edge of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The staff was great and the place was perfect after a day of hiking, I really recommend :) the breakfast was amazing!
