Excellent location on lake Tegernsee, fantastic facilities throughout the property, including direct access to swim in the lake. Breakfast was exceptional and the staff all welcoming and helpful for a traveling family.

Just 3 km from Lake Tegernsee, this family-run, Alpine-style hotel in Gmund offers free spa facilities, a traditional Bavarian restaurant with beer garden, and free WiFi. The owners added a unique touch to their Hotel with cosy decor, amazing homemade bread (delicious), fresh cheese, great fresh breakfast and dinner. The rooms were very cosy and clean. The bed was very comfy and cozy. Quite area. The location is not on the Tegernsee lake but very close by to drive or even hike (around 1h30min). We enjoyed our stay very much and will stay again for a longer time.

We loved our brief stay at Tegernsee! Its location is fabulous, as are the views from various parts of the property. It allowed us to tour the surrounding villages, enhancing our experience in this glorious area of Bavaria. Breakfast and dinner were inspired, with choices available at the former to satisfy any size appetite and taste, and preparation of the latter to please the most demanding gourmand. And then there's the wonderful staff -- friendly, accommodating, and clearly "at your service" with courtesy and gracious kindness.

The family-run Hotel Leeberghof offers comfortable rooms and a panoramic view of Lake Tegernsee which is 1 km away. Free WiFi internet access is available throughout the property. One of the most charming hotels I have ever stayed at! Gorgeous views, luxurious rooms with creative local decor, exceptional food and service - yet it all felt cozy and welcoming. Small touches like fresh fruit and brass keys instead of those hideous cards made it extra special. The dinner was one of the best we had in all of Germany, and the breakfast buffet with homemade breads and yogurts was wonderful. Loved that it was dog-friendly, even though our dog was not with us. The goats (sheep?) grazing on the pasture directly behind the hotel were the perfect Alpine touch. The entire family loved our time here.

Surrounded by the beautiful Bavarian Alps, this country-style guest house is just 500 metres from the popular Tegernsee Lake. Gästehaus Johanna offers free WiFi and rooms with a balcony or terrace. Charming and spacious apartment with a lovely view from the big balcony. The location was great.. a short stroll to the main streets of Bad Wiessee and the lake. Peaceful too. The space was perfect for two people.. large comfy bed, lots of wardrobe space, great bathroom and simple but fine kitchen (pans, Hob, kettle, fridge). I think we loved the balcony the best. Even when it rained, as the roof extended out.

This charming villa is a 5-minute walk from Lake Tegernsee and the centre of Rottach-Egern. Villa Adolphine is a hidden gem in Tegernsee area! Breakfast service was great, and so was the covered pool area. It's in an amazing location, quiet and has all the comforts one could think of for a short-to-long stay. Owner/ Adolphine team are amazing people, and they were extremely accommodating with all our requests. We will surely be getting back again, around winter break next time.

Just a 5-minute walk from Lake Tegernsee, this stylish hotel is set in the heart of the Bavarian Alps. It offers an breakfast restaurant. garden terrace and spacious accommodation with free Wi-Fi. A good room, large balcony, comfortable beds, great shower and space to manoeuvre and store your things. Breakfast was top class and can be taken outside, car parking was on site and easy. The bus stop is close by, 3 minutes to the lake and ferry jetty. Bike hire is also close by, lots of choice for evening meals, you won't starve here 😁 The staff are really very good, very nice people and go out of their way to be helpful 👍
