Location on the waterfront was lovely, room was spacious, comfortable and clean, the breakfast was plentiful and very, very good and Yolandi and Jacques our hosts were just fantastic, couldn't have done more, will definitely stay again and are highly recommend, thank you for a great stay

There is a choice of dining options at The Empress Hotel, including a French-style brasserie restaurant ,or The Piano Bar which serves a full bar menu daily until 9.30pm and a range of drinks. Breakfast was awesome, Margot was super friendly every morning and was most helpful in local information. Also Mathew was great in the bar also helpful with directions etc.

Mannin Hotel is situated in Douglas on the heart of Isle of Man, and features a bar and restaurant. The property is set a 13-minute walk from TT Grandstand. The accommodation offers limited free parking (on a first come, first served basis), a 24-hour front desk as well as free WiFi. The hotel is extremely clean and well kept. Very unusual interior balconies. Staff are all pleasant, helpful and informative and fulfilled my requests for both rooms on a lower floor and beside one another. Room facilities suited our needs really well, especially the mini fridge, microwave and sofa in my parents' room. Spacious room, flooded with sunlight (thanks to the really large windows) and beautiful view of the sea and docking ferries. Very comfortable bed. Lift went to both reception/breakfast area and also the underground carpark which was a bonus when checking out. Ample breakfast items which were always fully stocked. I can wholeheartedly recommend the porridge. Easy walking distance to the main shopping area/beach.

The seafront Ellan Vannin Hotel overlooks Douglas Bay and Douglas Beach. The hotel is 1 minutes’ walk from the beach and within 5 minutes’ walk of the ferry terminal and bus station. The main shops, cafes and restaurants are 2 minutes’ walk away. The hotel was amazing. It was clean, tidy and welcoming. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, perfect way to start my days out. Acky the barman was friendly and always on hand to help, in and out of the bar. Definitely will be my first choice when revisiting the isle of man.
