We had been ungraded - lovely surprise - and had a one bedroom apartment with separate bedroom, sitting / dining room, kitchen and bathroom. We had booked, essentially, a "bed sit". It really enhanced our stay as I have been ill and sleep a lot. It enabled my husband to have somewhere else to sit and read. Location was perfect, overlooking the sea and very central. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is a really relaxing and comfortable place to stay

The seafront Ellan Vannin Hotel overlooks Douglas Bay and Douglas Beach. The hotel is 1 minutes’ walk from the beach and within 5 minutes’ walk of the ferry terminal and bus station. Location, facilities, views, staff - everything. Amazing place and staff are brilliant.
