The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. We stayed one night. I don't think I've ever felt more welcome than in that hotel.

Overlooking picturesque hills, Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse is a family-run guest house in the tranquil Village of Ings, 2 miles from Windermere. There is free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms. Warm Atmosphere. Very nice & tidy. Breakfast was outclass. Bed was comfy. Easy to access room.

Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park. The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. Close to town centre, plenty of parking space, tasty breakfast, well maintained room and host hospitality

Ambleside Townhouse is a lovely accommodation. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. We had a spacious, quiet room with comfy beds and a nice view. Especially in the evenings, we were able to enjoy the sunset. The breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes and sourdough bread with scrambled eggs and salmon. We enjoyed fantastic hikes in the area.

With a picturesque location in Ambleside, Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa World Hotel Distinctive, BW Premier Collection features a modern spa and a brasserie. Breakfast was tasty and ample portions . Extra milk etc was readily available . Property was ideal location for the purpose I had travelled for plus good parking areas .

Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making... Hotel was great. Room was great. Private hot tub was great.

This family-run Lake District accommodation has an indoor swimming pool, picturesque gardens and free parking. Free WiFi is available in the downstairs public areas and the bedrooms. This hotel is beautiful and nicely positioned overlooking Windermere. The lounge, terrasse and dining room are all well appointed and elegant. The meals are good and the breakfast was particularly delicious. The staff are all friendly and helpful, taking time to assist with whatever you need to know. Our bedroom, although slightly smaller than I expected, was comfortable, clean and had a lovely view.

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. The setting was amazing, the staff were amazing and the facilities/food were fantastic.

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... What a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. Accommodation was excellent as was all the staff members, we had a wonderful welcome, , great food .
