On the edge of Loch Lomond and a 30-minute drive from Glasgow and its airport, this 4-star guest house has hearty Scottish breakfasts and free Wi-Fi. Excellent host who was willing to fulfil our special request of a very late check-in - a request that we found very hard to accept by other hotels or guest houses doing in-person check-in in that area. Fantastic breakfast menu you can choose from the evening before. Even better the taste and quantity of served meals we were not able to finish. We had a very short but the better stay at Gowanlea Guest House I would recommend to anybody. If coming back to Balloch and surroundings, definitely going to stay at Gowanlea again.

The Garrison Of Inversnaid Farm with Hot Tub was built in 1719 and is set in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Free WiFi and free private parking is available. The Scottish highland cattle that our kids could stroke and feed under supervision of Kelly as well as big boar Perky were the highlights of our stay

The Inn-keeper is very friendly and gives you very nice recommendations on dinner locations, hiking opportunities, ... What was also amazing that you get a free whisky every day as a nightcap!! :-)

Free public parking is possible on site.... Excellent B&B in a beautiful village. Comfy bed, spotless accommodation and a great selection of pastries, cereal, fruit, preserves and bread for toasting. Very dog friendly and great food in the pub next door.

Set in the village of Luss, this traditional inn has welcomed guests for over two centuries. A very good hotel , easy to access by driving, it is located just by the side of the road, but still can kept a quiet environment. It is very close to the beautiful village and pier by the beautiful Lock Loman The hotel include excellent breakfast. There is a very warm sitting room with real wood fireplace on the ground, you can comfortable enjoy a cup of drink in this warm environment. Highly recommended to stay for holiday.

The main hotel building is now under new ownership (previous owner holding onto Beach House rooms) Changes required to property description as follows: On the banks of Loch Lomond, this Traditional... It is an excellent hotel. Everything is perfect from the location to the facilities to the staff. We arrived late and the restaurant stopped taking orders as it was after 8pm but the person in charge for the evening made sure that after our delayed flight we would have a nice hearty meal. Rooms were extra comfortable as well. We are returned after 10 years and it maintained the same top notch standards.
