I actually don't know where to start first: - The overall super friendly, warm and helping staff. Every single one of them greets you with a genuine smile and a small chat. - Big and very clean room with a great fluffy bed, perfect shower, good AC and all amenities you would need. - Housekeeping staff (in our case Ana/Fiki) goes above and beyond to keep your room tidy every single day. The hotel is spick and span. - Chef helping my wife at the saturday night grill, explaining all the veggie dishes and making a special veggie pasta to make her happy. - Never seen such an extensive buffet breakfast with a lot of western options. All coffees are possible and made with a smile. - Large pool and very well equipped gym. Both areas are very clean at all times. - Helpful reception and door staff. Overall a great 4 night experience thanks to ALL the staff!

The staff were exceptional - very friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to help and advise, but will give you space to relax with a book if that's your thing. I loved wandering around the rural neighbourhood and felt very safe on my own. The owner organised a cycling tour for me which added another dimension to my enjoyment and understanding of the area. The room was simple and comfortable set in a beautiful, peaceful garden. The design of the property has been well thought out with Javanese furniture and buildings Javanese. This place made my trip to Yogjakarta!

Room was super clean and air conditioned with a large bathroom ( no a/c) and mini bar. ( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!

Felt very blessed to find Adu Waktu, especially because of the staff and very personal attention and help for planning excursions! The guided driving by Willy and Ari and the all day visits to the various temples and to the tea plantation and Yogyakarta city market center area were the highlights! The breakfast was yummy with lots of fruit and teas and coffees and omelets and green pancakes! We are dinner there every night and it was traditional and delicious! The pool and courtyard is absolutely gorgeous and very much an oasis in the busy metropolitan outskirts! We both will miss it and especially Willy and Ari!

Hotel was very quiet, you really cant hear the sound from the street. Very nice style, rooms very exceptionally clean, nicely furnished. Pool area was very quiet and clean.

Free private parking is available on site and free WiFi can be accessed throughout. So we actually rented a car at the airport and we came to visit the temples around Yogyakarta. For this reason, the hotel location was perfect. It was also important to be able to rest. There were some kids in the hotel but not on our floor (or at least we didn't hear). We checked the gym and the pool but didn't have much energy to use them after whole day trips. The breakfast was buffet style, and we could find enough vegan/vegetarian options. However, there could be a bit more salad variety. Also, on the room service menu, I didn't see for example any soup (even no basic tomato soup, for example) and also no green salad ... I believe we could have requested from the kitchen, but it was not on the menu. The hotel room was neat and tidy. We loved the modern style, the free mineral waters, 1 bottle of ionised water, coffee, tea, and some chocolates. The room also has a hair dryer and small amenities. We really loved the place. The staff were super nice and friendly. Especially two girls at the breakfast. Can't recall their names but one was inside the salad bar and the other was collecting the plates from the tables. They both spoke great English and were really helpful. If we come again to Yogyakarta, definitely plan a stay at this hotel again and will recommend to friends as well. Thank you.

The landscape of resort have the borobudur landscape and nature touch. There is alot birds and the sound in morning awakenings. We given compliments dinner, thank you so much. The food so delicious especially the desert, thanks to the staff Nurul give us good services.
