Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Love the room just wish we had more chance to use the patio (couldn’t this time because of the weather). Featuring indoor and outdoor swimming pools, Alentejo Marmoris Hotel & SPA is located in Vila Viçosa, known for its marble. The hotel’s Stone Spa by Bruno Vassari provides relaxing treatments. This hotel is stunning! Everything about it is pure luxury. Decked out in marble, the rooms and facilities are incredible. The owner owns a marble quarry, so the design of the hotel is fully fitted out in marble. It is rare and world class. The daily breakfast was impeccable and the servers were so kind and spoke in French, English and Portuguese. The staff went over and above and we booked in a wine tasting with the chef of the restaurant and it was amazing!!

Located in Troia, this 5-star hotel has a unique design and faces the Sado River Estuary. It features a casino, a spa and 2 outdoor swimming pools. I chose this hotel to celebrate my birthday and it was a really great choice! The staff was very friendly, I had a room with a beautiful view and it was clean and spacious. The restaurant inside the hotel was very good and the breakfast in the morning was varied and delicious. I also liked the free underground parking and free admission to the spa. Many hotels usually charge extra fee for these two options, but here no, it's nice. I will definitely be staying here again!

I had a wonderful, peaceful, and comfortable stay. Not a bad walk to the castle. The staff was friendly and very helpful and accommodating when I asked about visiting some of the menhirs around the area. As I traveled alone, it's good to know that people care. Would return for a longer stay! Thank you!
