Situated in Kapaa, Kauai Shores Hotel is an oceanfront hotel that features a private beach, a beachfront restaurant, and a 6-acre tropical courtyard complete with 2 outdoor pools. The layout and decor of the resort is bright and cheerful. The ambience of grounds is inviting and the room was clean. We loved the tiki torches and all of the gorgeous flowers right outside our door. The beach was easily accessible and the morning sunrises from the beach were spectacular. The resort is conveniently located next door to the Coconut shopping plaza with a market, restaurants and many shops. We enjoyed the complimentary morning yoga classes and bikes to ride along the path in Kapa'a. It is easy to get downtown and to several other beaches by bike. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

These Hawaiian condos are one mile from the Bali Hai beach and feature 2 outdoor pool. The apartments have a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living room. The size of the 2 bedroom apartment is so spacious and roomy. Had all the amenities we need for a comfortable stay. We loved the pool and how clean the property is. would stay here again.

Less than 1 mile from Poipu Beach Park and Shipwreck Beach, this 70-acre resort at the southern tip of Kauai features outdoor pools and apartments with full kitchens. Front Desk Staff (Mae and Kaysha) were exceptionally helpful--always smiling/friendly, gave good advice re: places to go, dining, etc.---They were amazing! When there were technical problems in the room (TV, internet, etc.), and maintenance was called, they came in record time (usually 5 minutes or less!!)--have been places where you wouldn't get service for a day or two--this was exceptional service! Liked that you could get DVDs to watch for free--provided something to do in the evenings.

Surrounded by tropical gardens and offering direct beach access, the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beach Boy features spacious condo-style accommodations along with on-site spa services and dining. Check-in and parking was easy. The hotel is right at the beach and our 2nd floor apartment was the third away from the ocean but had a good sea view and one could hear the waves (as well as chicken, as Kauai is the Garden and Chicken Island of Hawaii - they are simply everywhere). The big pool area was very nice and well-maintained. The appartment was sufficiently equipped for preparing and eating food in the apartment. The airport is not far but beware of the rush hour on workdays - in the morning to Lihue and in the afternoon from Lihue. All attractions are easy to reach by car and/or a bit of hiking but depening on traffic, you better plan a day trip if you are going all north (Tunnels Beach, etc.) or south (especially Waimea Canyon). The shopping center next door is convenient and supermarkets are not far away.

The hotel was way better than we were expecting, huge rooms, comfortables beds in the best location. Staff were amazing too! 10/10 definitely recommend.
