Preveza is a cute little harbour town, its proximity to Nicopolis was the main reason for our stay. It is also great for trips in the island of leukada and also relatively close to the beautiful nature and mountains of Epirus. Easy and convenient airport and Preveza offered a very relaxed atmosphere in the old town area. Many good restaurants including some like Saitan Palazar with live Greek music on certain evenings. Taverna Mythos was delightfully friendly and good value for money. Dioni Boutique Hotel was excellent and in an enviable position. Easy access by 6 euro taxi to the Ktel bus station for 7 euro bus to Parga or 1 euro 60c easy bus back to airport. We shall certainly use this gateway to Greece again.

We ADORED Preveza!
We ADORED Preveza! One of our favourite places we have ever been. It felt totally authentic, non-touristy, there was such a buzz everywhere & everything we ate was incredible. Small town which is not packed with tourists luckily. The beaches are amazing -Alonaki is my favourit-, the architecture is amazing, the food is extremel delicious in every single restaurant (Opaka was our favourit)! The people are generally kind and try their best to help when needed. The food prices are low. Perfect place to roam around on a bike, there are no real distances, perfect for photoshoots and to enjoy your summer to the fullest.AndreaHungary

We felt so pampered by them, when we arrived there was already food and fruit in the fridge, very thoughtful and a pleasant surprise after the trip. The apartment is lovely, spacious enough to allow privacy for a family with adult children such as ours, Very quiet neighbourhood, 10 minutes from Monolithi beach, we would recommend Ionio beach bar, amazing service and affordable, well-made food. Dora was very welcomong and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed being in the town close to shops and tavernas and only 10 - 15 min walk to the local beaches. From the balconies you could look down the friendly alleyway of tavernas and see the sea by the town quay. We've had a great holiday and when we come back we will definitely look at flying into Preveza and staying at Oikia.

Across the walkway from a little taverna that would serve you meals on your balcony, if desired with a 10% discount. In spite of being across from the taverna and just about 50 meters from several cafe-bars, once inside the apartment there was virtually no outside noise at all. The internet was very fast. Best of all, the apartment was pet friendly, so my little Pekingese and I had a lovely stay!

It is in a very quiet area, with gardens and swimming pool that invite you to rest. Family atmosphere. All apartments have good views of the garden. The very large private terrace. While it is true that the sea is very close, the immediate beach is only good for a walk. Don't miss visiting the Acheron River. We enjoyed staying at the Kalamitsi Hotel.
