Boasting a terrace, Art Hotel Tartini is set in the heart of Piran. The hotel was completely renovated in 2018 with finishing touches provided by one of the most famous Slovenian artists.

Place was lovely. Chose it mainly for the parking and location but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Amazing roof terrace space.
Small but very beautiful town. Getting around is quite easy.
Small but very beautiful town. Getting around is quite easy. Love the small boutiques. We still missing some places because of the rain and we did not plan our itinerary well. Hope to come back someday.

Wonderful small town on the sea coast, with great restaurants, beautiful views, nice shops, lots of history. I ate along the sea walk several times, got a local private tour, took a bus to the nearest town Portoroz. Would highly recommend seeing Piran!

Right up there with the Amalfi Coast and Cinque Terra in the gorgeous seaside village sweepstakes. Breathtaking views everywhere you look. Pretty main square with beautiful 18th and 19th century architecture. Crystal clear water for swimming, although there are no sand beaches, but piers and jetties. Lots of nice restaurants with sea / sunset views

Piran is a very compact town so it is easy to walk but take care with the uneven cobblestones. There is a wide range of eating places. The cement area in front of the sea was a surprise: there is no sand. The free shuttle was handy for getting luggage from the very expensive parking garage (the only option for visitors). Our hostess, Bruna, was a memorable part of the visit.

Piran is an idyllic peninsula of Slovenia, it's a very small village and therefore; I wish I'd stayed less than the 3 nights I did. The nearby towns are bigger and more touristy and have little to offer in terms of culture.
I'd highly recommend using Piran for its ferries, the walking tour that includes food tasting and the salt spa/pans that are able to be reached by bus. But, also relaxing in the sun by the sea and enjoying the delicious restaurants.
The location was perfect! I’d say it was the loveliest street in the whole Piran. Not that easy to get to though (city center streets are on the lower part of the city) but it was 3 mins far from the Piazza Tartini. The flat was small but had many facilities (AC, small kitchen, washing machine and iron included) and it’s perfect for a few days stay. The hosts were very kind and let us check-out a little bit later due to our trip plans. For us it was a great spot!
We had an excellent five-day stay at PachaMama in Piran. Perfectly located almost at the main square, it was close to everything yet quiet enough for peaceful nights. There’s plenty to do nearby, and the area is great for leisurely walks. The staff was notably super friendly and helpful, assisting us with parking outside the city. What really impressed us were the sustainable features of the hotel. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Piran!
The Location was terrific, parking has to be at the garage up the hill but they made that super easy. The staff was great and very helpful. Breakfast had a lot of options and fresh fruit which I loved. Our room was clean and well cared for and we got a great nights sleep even though we were on the busy street side. I lost an item when leaving at the parking garage and they helped me get it back which I really appreciated!
Hotel in Piran downtown was amazing! Amazing breakfast and great and comfy bed we were looking for. Yeap, we dropped our car in parking lot far away, but then we started to enjoy our stay without any transportation. Piran is lovely town with unique atmosphere and this hotel supports our great feelings from this place. If we return to Piran for sure we will choose "Second Life in Piran - Hotel Zala" for our next stay.
As a family of three traveling by car and with our dog, we felt very welcomed. The team was in constant contact with us and helped us a lot with recommendations about parking and everything we needed.
The apartment we stayed in has a great location in Piran. We parked the car at Fornace Garage and walked to the apartment (just 10 min), although the there is a free bus connecting the parking to central Piran.
It's in the old town of Piran, just a few minutes' walk to every sight, with wonderful view to the port. The apartment was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds were comfortable. Portoroz central beach is about a nice and easy 40 mins walk, with a lane along the seaside. Parking is about 10 mins walk, 29 EUR/day, but you can drive in the old town free of charge for 15 mins for the luggage.
The hosts were very helpful and attentive. As others have commented, assistance with required out of city center parking and luggage transport was very helpful, also assistance with parking costs greatly appreciated. Maintenance issue handled promptly. Location within walking distance of all the old city sites and activities. Good sized apartment in very good condition, separate bedroom.
Location is excellent but because Piran center is closed to traffic one has to go through this ordeal of dropping of the bags and then parking and coming back to the room. They did the best they can, you get a free parking, but foreigners are a bit confused about it all. The hotel staff does a good job of facilitating it.
Walking distance to the center of town, and to the parking lot where we need to park the car. Apartment is a good size with an outdoor area for warm weather.
Best of all is the manager, Peter. He went out of his way to make sure we had a comfortable stay! Super attentive and helpful!
Very nice apartment, just enough for two people. Excellent location in the heart of Piran. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, gave us detailed instructions upon arrival. Piran center is out of parking limits, so be prepared to carry your luggage depending on where you park.
The apartment is really big, and was perfect for our needs! The host was very kind and helpful. It has a good location, next to the beach, and near a lot of restaurants. You can park outside the city, but there is a bus line which goes almost to the apartment from the parking lot.
Fantastic location. Exceptionally kind and friendly host. Excellent communication. Provided safe parking spot (much cheaper than public parking) that could otherwise be a problem in Piran. We had only one night stay, but we had all we needed. Definitely worth a reccomendation
The personel is friendly, VIP shuttle to parkinghouse outside of Piran (maybe cleverer to collect the guests there before they all drive two times through Piran), good breakfast buffet, rooms and bath big enough, the LOCATION ist the best of the hotel.
Beautiful location with seaview in Piran. The rooms are nice, equipped with quit air conditioning and comes with free parking. Beach and restaurants are a nice walk. The host is very friendly and helpful- gave us very good restaurant recommendations.
Small apartment, but clean and good for a few days stay.
Good location in quiet part of town, but not too far from beach and in walking distance to the old town of Piran.
Very good breakfast
Parking right in front of the apartment
Very nice spacious apartment. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to Piran center down a lot of stairs and back up again. Google Maps showed the way. Had a free parking space which was very helpful. Located in a nice modern residential area.
The room was modern, clean and smelling nicely. The bathroom small and equipped in a modern way. The owner gave us helpful tips about the parking in Piran. Self-check in was easy and without any delays.
Owner was super-friendly and very proffessional (service minded).
Parking!!! Guest to keep in mind that only very few properties offer parking as well at Piran.... At Opara you get parking as well
