I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel and it's wonderful staff!! we loved the location and our room was AMAZING! with a view of the lake and mountains. The facilities are top notch, and the breakfast divine; as a vegan I greatly appreciated the choice. Every evening we used the spa, which is wonderful, with so many rooms to choose from (sauna, steam etc.) and a delightful pool. The hotel is set in its own grounds that are peaceful and relaxing, with all the local shops and restraunts just a short walk away. The best thing really was how friendly and accomodating the staff were, which made it feel more like a wellness retreat! We are so thakful to all everyone at Hollwegers and we hope to visit again in the very near future!

Everything was clean and tidy. The location must be great for cycling. The closest lake (Hintersee) is approx. 5 km from the appartment. Othwerwise Faistenau has a bigger supermarket, bakery and a few restaurants.
