Amazingly resonable price for half-board, plus unlimited drinks(even beer) in dinner only paying 3 Euros. Breakfast and dinner buffets were so nice: delicious and a lot of variety of foods to choose, and main dish in dinner was always different everyday

This is a 5 star hotel in every aspect. They deserve a long and excellent review so here goes..... They arranged, at our cost, a comfortable car for transport from TFS so the 45 minutes or so to the hotel flew by. Then they upgraded us on arrival to a penthouse room which had a deck and overlooked the pool. Absolutely lovely. They smartly include three sizes of bed pillow for each guest and made the twin beds into one king size one for my husband and myself. Our floor maid team headed by Jennifer was excellent every single day - you can put a card if you want to keep the sheets you have for water saving. There are 5 floors to the hotel and the restaurants and amenities (including a billiard table and a pool table and fabulous library of lending books of all languages on the 3rd floor) ping pong in the garden, and three different pools which I loved for different times - smallish spa pool quite warm, outside spa pool very pleasant w not shivers on getting in and then the main pool which is beside the outside dining for lunch which is beautiful but much cooler and was mainly unused by people sunning in very comfortable loungers. I have never in all my travels had such comfortable leather pads on both the pool loungers and the ones on our deck room. Tatjana for massage! The breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice and very courteous about making omelets and peoples perfectly times morning eggs. I am particular about my coffee so requested americano vs the carafe of less strong coffee they automatically offer. I never had anyone get peaked about that request. Really, top to bottom the employees were always courteous, patient and quick with filling requests. Rahul is the manager at our favorite restaurant La Parrilla which is the best of the three restaurants on site in my view. He will also make plain grilled fish and steamed vegetables on request which is nice to have on a long stay, has an excellent cheese board for desert and is also a sommelier.

Everything exceptional. The breakfast was so amazing. All kinds of everything reminds me of heaven. The location was so fantastic. Short walk to very nice pubs and resteraunts. The hotel was heavenly perfect and the staff wonderful.

Kitchen ist well equipped so you can take care of yourself and the spacious dining and living room allow to spread out even in a bigger group of 6. Each bedroom has his own bathroom. Internet connection was fast and stable. The villa is in a small suburb of puerto de la cruz, halfway up the hill to la orotava, so it's quite a walk into town (~20 min) or to the next bus stop, therefore you need a rental car.

We decided to treat ourselves with two nights in this hotel and it was exactly as pampering as I hoped. Enormous comfortable bed, clean rooms, nice small swimming pool and sauna. Delicious breakfast choices. With a view of Teide on top. Really charming place. If you are not familiar with the concept of “Paradores”, I recommend reading something about it online. Our room was very spacious and quiet and we had our own roof terrace which was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful (they recommended the Parada Bar/Restaurant for dinner which was great in terms of location, food, service and value). The breakfast was excellent and the hotel's roof terrace provided fantastic views from the sea to the volcano.

Wonderful location (well, at the top of a steep walk but overall close to town centre, the sea and the mountains, plus La Orotava is really a Jewel). Easy check-in, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Showers are spacious and with hot water, amazing terrace as common area. At the time I went, once a week the staff prepares an amazing BBQ for a small contribution for all the guests! We went out at night to watch the stars and some of our party climbed up Teide as far as the chair lift down. This invoked collecting packed meals early morn8bg which were good. The apartment consists of a large bedroom + living room with kitchen area + spacious bathroom. Outside is a furnished terrace (table + chairs), and you can use the entire garden - with other guests, if present - that offers a nice swimming pool and a barbecue that is free to be used. There is also an area for sauna, massage and fitness that can be used for extra payment.
