This was probably the most beautiful apartment we have ever rented while traveling. It was modern and comfortable with great design! There were only three of us, but it would still be comfortable for four people. It was in a great location in Caen, close to parking and restaurants. The host was very helpful and kind, even though we did not speak the same language very well, we managed to communicate.

The hotel was ideally located in the centre of Caen. Caen is very nice, with plenty of restaurants and shops. Driving in the region is good, with little traffic if you are exploring the D-Day beaches. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I arrived early morning from the overnight ferry and they allowed me to use the bathroom to get washed ahead of my afternoon check in.

The room was very large and spacious, super clean, the bathroom had wet room shower and was also large. A quiet comfortable night was had and the breakfast was very good value. All in all hubby and I was very happy with our stay!

Breakfast was a great start to the day with croissants, baguettes, homemade jam, plain yogurt, and fruit. Eline was friendly and welcoming and helped us coordinate our transport both days (taxi and train schedule) which we really appreciated. Breakfast was good and convenient that it was until 11:00u on weekends. The parkinglot is small, so make sure to make a reservation, but it was private. So it was a good way to make sure we could park our car, and it was not as expensive as the public parking spaces.
