We had a wonderful stay at Oberoi Grande. The staff treated us as family, and The Oberoi was like an oasis every time we returned from an outing in town. We like to give special thanks to Indranil, Patricia, Tushar, Tenzing and Chef Klae, who made the birthday celebration for my wife in The Thai restaurant a very special event. We can certainly recommend the Oberoi!

We stayed for 10 night at this beautiful hotel. Front desk staff were wonderful, specially Bidisha, who was beyond excellent, very responsive to all our needs; Hrishav always greeted us with a smile and enquired as to any needs, everyone was very kind. We used In room dining for 2 breakfasts, and a few other meals, all excellent, special mention to the Thai curry and the club sandwiches (yummm); Housekeeping was immaculate and coming back to a beautifully made up room every evening was a great pleasure; the Tess restaurant had a delicious menu which we used several times for lunch, the hostesses were very pleasant and helpful. The Location of the hotel was very convenient for the purpose we were there in Kolkata, though the access road is narrow and crowded, but once you enter through the gates, one is transported to a lovely, modern, and elegant oasis of calm. Congratulations to the Hyatt Centric staff for making our stay truly comfortable and a home away from home.

I loved the stay, it was cozy, comfortable and clean. I loved their food. The staff was very helpful and well behaved. Ethan and I forgot the name of another staff :( was really nice. The location was super convenient as I could walk to victoria memorial and many other shopping places too. I highly recommend and definitely will come here again if I am coming back.

The hotel is very luxurious. It is located in the midst of all the hustle, yet within its building confines, it feels calm and peaceful. Great hotel for family with young kids. There is a fish pond, and they provide fish food if you'd like to feed them. There are also some cute ducks hanging around the pond. Their breakfast buffet was OK. I was expecting more local Bengali dishes. There were so many South Indian dishes that I felt I was in ITC Chennai not Kolkata. This is one suggestion, please make Bengali cuisine the star of your breakfast buffet. The buffet spread is a little limited compared to other 5 star hotels we've visited around the world. The lunch buffet was limited too so we opted for the much larger buffet at the Royal Bengal. The two hotels are interconnected so can just walk down. Overall a great experience. The staff is courteous especially the gate guards always ready to open the car door for you and greet you with a namaste. Just one thing I thought would be worth mentioning, we had asked for a late check out and it was promptly confirmed but we still got calls post that asking us to check out at the original time. Might need to improve internal staff communication. Overall it was a fantastic experience.I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Everything it was seamless from airport to hotel and hotel to airport with extra care. Rafi duty manager was really helpful and cordial and house keeping guy Rajesh who really took good care of the cleanliness of the room. As always we enjoy TAJ hospitality and would love to visit again.
