Everything was perfect. Our room got upgraded to the suite (beautiful rooms) and the staff including Sahil, Papu & Mehrab was sweet, helpful and did everything to make our stay & tours comfortable. Sahil (the hotel owner) arranged desert tours and camel rides which was authentic and a great experience. We also tried to cook fresh local mutton with Sahil & Mehrab on the rooftop with open fire and it tasted amazing. I can fully recommend this place and I will visit this place again next time I am in Jaisalmer.

The staff are amazing, we had a late train coming in that was delayed til after midnight and they still made checking in a breeze. The views on the terrace are stunning and you can eat all your meals up there! The room stays nice and cool in the heat of the day and looks beautiful with the local architecture. Even dropped us off at the train station on check out which saved alot of hassle to end our trip.

A ride was arranged for me from the Jodhpur airport and my driver was so kind, and even stopped to get me my first cup of authentic chai. Upon arrival I immediately felt welcomed by Suresh and the others, and was amazed at the beauty of this palace and city. The architecture and style of this building is unique and filled with gorgeous details. The rooms are comfortable and cool, with large fans and AC to keep you comfortable in the heat. The food is delicious and the view from the rooftop restaurant area makes it an even more delightful experience. Highly recommend checking out this gem of a hotel in the Golden City! Also they arrange great memorable experience camel safari for us.

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived at the hotel The power went out when we got to the roof terrace ..but this only added to the welcome as the fort, which is right beside the hote,l was still lit up and looking stunning... we were giving chai and fruit while we waited for the power to come back on. This was only 10 minutes or so. Our room was very comfortable with nice furnishings and a stunning view of the fort out of the beautiful windows.The hotel building is rather lovely. We had breakfast up on the terrace which was all included and we could watch the cooking being done which was really interesting. Nawab looked after us for sure and we felt very comfortable staying here.He even took us out to meet his family and eat with them - which is something that will stay with us for a long time ! The location right beside the fort is a huge plus as it is a short walk up the hill and the fort is not to be missed ! Have no hesitation on recommending the Kings Villa as a nice stay in Jaisalmer.
