The Seehotel Das JO. in Pörtschach offers a private beach with deck chairs and sunshades right on the shore of Lake Wörth, only a few metres away. I liked the friendliness and courtesy of the staff, the welcome extended to my puppy, who found a bed and a blanket as well as water and food bowls. The breakfast was excellent. I also liked the proximity to the city center and hiking trails. It was really great and would use that hotel again.

O Hotel Post Wrann é um hotel tradicional com mais de 200 anos de história, mesmo no centro de Velden, apenas a poucos passos do casino e do Lago Wörthersee. The breakfast had a rich choice of different foods. The room was quite big and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was not far from the hotel and it was not crowded. We also had a very good parking place for our car. The pizza and the fish in the restaurant were very tasty, we had dinners only there.

Beautiful setting on the lake in a charming small town that is easily accessed by train. The rooms are large and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was the best ever and the evening restaurant food was excellent. The indoor pool, saunas and spa services were just what weary travelers needed!
