Offering a swimming pool and a barbecue, Villa Saint Marc - B&B en Provence is set in Forcalquier in a 4000m² garden, 32 km from Apt. Full of charm and tastefully decorated, very warm welcome, generous and passionate; hosts do aim to please. Will definitely return.

This boutique-hotel is located in the middle of lavender fields in the Luberon Region, 3 km from the centre of Roussillon. We loved basically everything: room clean and spacious, breakfast amazing, the hosts are amazing people and in general the holtel (that is a traditional mas) is amazing.

Situated in a former convent in Mane, built in 1613, Le Couvent des Minimes Hôtel & Spa L'Occitane RELAIS & CHATEAUX has a period facade and a terraced garden with botanical plants. The hotel is a wonderful conversion of the ancient convent. It is clear that mountains of money, but also tons of taste, were expended in achieving it. The result is sublime: like living in a beautiful château, except comfortable. As for the spa, it is superb, the best we’ve seen (and we’ve seen a few). It would impress a Roman emperor (if there were more slaves). We didn’t benefit from the huge outdoor pool or the terraces, since we were there in winter, but they would be a delight in warm weather. Someone has done a terrific job in assembling and training a rather young staff of charming and intelligent people. From the parking attendants to the receptionists, and from the waiters and waitresses to the exceptional sommelière (Ms. Pauline), there wasn't a one that we wouldn’t happily adopt and take home with us. The buffet breakfast: simply the best (really). The hotel has its own full-time boulanger, as well as a pastry chef. Okay, full disclosure: the coffee could be better. There is (of course) a gourmet restaurant (we can all imagine what that’s like), as well as a “bistro" on the premises. (Fortunately, since the local village doesn’t offer much at all.) The bistro serves mainly fanciful haute cuisine; we would have preferred that it be more authentically bistro-like, with some classic bistro-type food (steaks, daubes, foie gras, magret, confit de canard…yes, maybe even french fries!). It goes to show: even paradise can stand to be tweaked a bit.

Located in the hilltop village of Gordes, Airelles Gordes, La Bastide features 18th century décor and offers panoramic views over the Luberon valley from its many terraces and hanging gardens. Staff is very nice and diligent to make sure everything is running smoothly. The view is incredible. Amenities like the pool are also very enjoyable and very well maintained.

La Bastide de Marie, Maisons et Hôtels Sibuet is located in the Luberon Regional Park in south-east France. Breakfast is fabulous. The location is close to many charming towns. This is a favorite destination of ours!

Located close to the Luberon Park, Coquillade Provence welcomes you in a typical 13th-century wine-making village. The hotels and the surroundings were phenomenal. I especially liked the walk through the woods (property of hotel), the beautiful pool.. everything was perfect!

Set in Oppède, 27 km from Parc des Expositions Avignon, La Bastide du Mourre offers accommodation with pool with a view, free private parking, a garden and a tennis court. Absolutely beautiful, stylish and super clean. I have never stayed in a cleaner room than here. Just magical. Loved the atmosphere, the interior, the peaceful and well maintained garden with the handsome gardener, I have a crush on now :)

Lovely home with all the amenities PLUS a hot tub. Situated in a beautiful setting, peaceful, pretty private, very friendly hosts who treated us to a lovely meal and drinks our last night. Very helpful and responsive hosts. FREE Parking. Outdoor space to enjoy the sun.
