Villa Saint Marc - B&B en Provence biedt een zwembad en een barbecue en ligt in Forcalquier in een tuin van 4000 m2, op 32 km van Apt. In de hele accommodatie is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. Wat mij het meest beviel was de persoonlijke benadering door Cristiana en Alexandre, altijd een vriendelijk gesprek en tips om eropuit te trekken, restaurants die voor ons werden gereserveerd, het uitgebreide ontbijt met eigengemaakte en lokale producten op het terras met uitzicht over Forcalquier, een verfrissend drankje bij het zoutwater zwembad, de villa is riant en met zorg ingericht, zoals alles met zorg voor ons werd gedaan.

Dit boetiekhotel ligt te midden van lavendelvelden in de regio Luberon, op 3 km van het centrum van Roussillon. Het is in 2018 gerenoveerd en beschikt over een spa met een hamam en een hot tub. Het is een kleinschalig hotel met zeer toffe uitbaters. Het zicht vanop het terras is zeer mooi. Het ontbijt en het diner is tot in de puntjes verzorgd.

Situated in a former convent in Mane, built in 1613, Le Couvent des Minimes Hôtel & Spa L'Occitane RELAIS & CHATEAUX has a period facade and a terraced garden with botanical plants. The hotel is a wonderful conversion of the ancient convent. It is clear that mountains of money, but also tons of taste, were expended in achieving it. The result is sublime: like living in a beautiful château, except comfortable. As for the spa, it is superb, the best we’ve seen (and we’ve seen a few). It would impress a Roman emperor (if there were more slaves). We didn’t benefit from the huge outdoor pool or the terraces, since we were there in winter, but they would be a delight in warm weather. Someone has done a terrific job in assembling and training a rather young staff of charming and intelligent people. From the parking attendants to the receptionists, and from the waiters and waitresses to the exceptional sommelière (Ms. Pauline), there wasn't a one that we wouldn’t happily adopt and take home with us. The buffet breakfast: simply the best (really). The hotel has its own full-time boulanger, as well as a pastry chef. Okay, full disclosure: the coffee could be better. There is (of course) a gourmet restaurant (we can all imagine what that’s like), as well as a “bistro" on the premises. (Fortunately, since the local village doesn’t offer much at all.) The bistro serves mainly fanciful haute cuisine; we would have preferred that it be more authentically bistro-like, with some classic bistro-type food (steaks, daubes, foie gras, magret, confit de canard…yes, maybe even french fries!). It goes to show: even paradise can stand to be tweaked a bit.

Airelles Gordes, La Bastide ligt in het dorp Gordes, dat zich op de top van een heuvel bevindt. Staff is very nice and diligent to make sure everything is running smoothly. The view is incredible. Amenities like the pool are also very enjoyable and very well maintained.

Het La Bastide de Marie, Maisons et Hôtels Sibuet ligt in het regionale park Luberon, in het zuidoosten van Frankrijk. Breakfast is fabulous. The location is close to many charming towns. This is a favorite destination of ours!

Located close to the Luberon Park, Coquillade Provence welcomes you in a typical 13th-century wine-making village. The hotels and the surroundings were phenomenal. I especially liked the walk through the woods (property of hotel), the beautiful pool.. everything was perfect!

La Bastide du Mourre is gelegen in Oppède, op 27 km van Parc des Expositions van Avignon en 36 km van Centraal station van Avignon. Absolutely beautiful, stylish and super clean. I have never stayed in a cleaner room than here. Just magical. Loved the atmosphere, the interior, the peaceful and well maintained garden with the handsome gardener, I have a crush on now :)

Lovely home with all the amenities PLUS a hot tub. Situated in a beautiful setting, peaceful, pretty private, very friendly hosts who treated us to a lovely meal and drinks our last night. Very helpful and responsive hosts. FREE Parking. Outdoor space to enjoy the sun.
