Due to the pandemic that has become impossible, so I wanted to pick a country with a coastline towards the Atlantic and Portugal was the perfect match. I had already visited the Algarve last year and knew I wanted to live in a rural location between Aljezur and Odeceixe, so Rogil was what I was looking for. If you really, really want tranquility and peace of mind Herdade de Vagem is truly the place for you. The silence, the closeness to amazing nature like the beach of Praia do Vale dos Homes, the small country roads and friendly people. You have it all here. The host was very attentive and responsive to messages during my stay. As I was coming with food that would have otherwise been spoiled, I was allowed to check in earlier as there were no previous guests. The apartment was simply perfect for me in size. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen perfect in size. The week I stayed simply flew away. In one way or another I will come back, that is for sure.

Home Village ligger i Vila do Bispo, 35 km fra Aljezur Slot, 45 km fra Algarve Internationale Circuit og 10 km fra Sagres-fæstningen. Der er grillfaciliteter. Great little apartment with everything we needed! Set a little ways on the edge of town so it felt more quiet. We appreciated having access to a washing machines though we could have used some basic instructions. The settings on the machine were unclear, but maybe we are just not familiar with machines made for European users.

We rented the apartment on the first floor for a month. It was easily one of the best places we've ever stayed as a family of four. The apartment is very safe for toddlers which was important for us (There's no stuff that they can break, there are not gaps where they can fall, etc.). The kitchen is very well equipped; we've found there everything that we needed (which is rare). The hosts were very welcoming and responsive during our stay. Because we'd stayed there for quite some time we've got couple of extra cleaning services which was very thoughtful.

This cute little property was the perfect spot in Porto Covo! The host was amazing and left us some fresh bread and wine, which was so sweet. There's plenty of amenities at the house you can use, including coffee and a beach umbrella! The balcony is so nice with an ocean view. The A/C works SUPER well, it kept us frozen. Bathroom is great, awesome water pressure and lots of towels. The host recommended some awesome restaurants and there's a grocery store nearby. All in all, a really nice little place with everything you could need!

Beautiful location, very spacious and lovely balcony where you could enjoy a lovely glass of vino after a long day of walking. The owners are very nice to leave us some drinks and food. Great communication too.

Quinta do Paraíso ligger i Pedreneiras, mindre end 5 km fra S. Teotónio og 13 km fra Odeceixe, og har en frodig have med stier og bænke overalt. Very helpful host (German, Portuguese, English spoken). Good location (rural setting, close to coast, a comfortable drive from Faro). Beautiful and interesting gardens. My first floor room had a private balcony. Everything tidy and cleaned daily.

So quiet, the staff were great, they made us feel like we were at home. We used a small child and it was perfect for that too. They have já a better house because there was a bigger group next to us so they upgrade us for free to a nicer apartment so that we could Be on our own. A complimentary bottle of wine was waiting for us, that was fantastic. The house had everything we needed to shower sleep, cool etc. We loved it.

Monte Chabouco - Alojamento Local ligger 11 km fra Aljezur i naturparken Vicentine og 700 meter fra vandrestien Rota Vicentina. Der tilbydes komfortable huse kun 2 km fra Vale Figueiras Strand. Super lækkert landsted. Skøn, afsides beliggenhed i bjergene med flot udsigt. Rigtig gode faciliteter. Kan varmt anbefales.

Naturarte Rio - Duna Parque Group ligger i det sydvestlige Alentejo og naturparken Vicentine Coast. Der tilbydes villaer med egen forplejning og aircondition. Der er gratis trådløs internetadgang. A great quiet refuge, perfect for enjoying time as a family. The 2 Br unit was a perfect size for our family of 4, and the breakfast each day was huge and excellent. My kids loved greeting the farm animals each morning and we enjoyed the nearby hiking trails.
