We were looking for something that was quiet, off the beaten track, and still in our budget--and Lukes place was perfect. The property is beautiful and the chalets are well equipped (seriously!). There was such attention to detail in the chalets--everything you might need for a self-catering location. Linda was incredibly helpful with local tips and any questions we had. A very good value, high quality location.

Vilancool Beach Resort provides air-conditioned rooms in Vilanculos. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking, and free Wifi. We visited Vilankulos partly to relax, partly to dive. We visited during the low season; both Villancool and the town were generally quiet and peaceful. The beach-view villa we stayed at was beautiful, and well equipped. Shopping for seafood and vegetables at the market was a great experience, and it was good that the villas are self-catering. Other than the many traditional dow-style fishing boats that get stranded at low tide, the miles of beach were largely deserted and ideal for long walks, accompanied by King and Smile, the two gorgeous dogs that belong at the property. Dalton and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful....no task was too small for them. We cannot recommend the place strongly enough, and will be returning.

The staff were amazing and helpful. Rebecca really was first class and was there with information whenever we needed help. The bar staff and food were excellent with a nice "features" board. It is just a beautiful place on a beautiful beach. I miss it already
