BELO CAMPO - Ilha do Faial (Horta) in Castelo Branco, Faial Island, provides accommodations with a garden and a shared lounge. The host was super nice, on the night when I arrived and the nearby restaurant was closed and taxi drivers not available, he drove me to the Horta to buy some food. The room was very nice, comfortable, clean and cozy. Place is just opposite the airport, so it is great place if you have to catch a morning flight. Also, the breakfast was very good.

Located 1969 feet from the small island airport, Quinta das Buganvílias is surrounded by a large park with lush vegetation. The location is perfect since our flight was early in the morning, we arrived the airport in 5 mins walk! Love this farm! The planets, flowers, the garden... also the furnitures, the chairs, tables, lamps.... all ! Plus the great host Ana, nice and warm. We regret that we didn't stay longer!

At night, the sound of the "cagarros" birds is weird but funny and not loud.
