Hotels near Princess Juliana International Airport - SXM, Simpson Bay

If you're traveling to Sint Maarten to watch the planes, then the lowlands are the place to be. If Maho Beach isn't your thing, Simpson Bay is nearby and much more chill. Maho has a few casinos, restaurants, and much more to offer.

Best area to stay when visiting SXM, honesty the night life, food , people its just the perfect location to be in! Day or night Simpson Bay is really just amazing. Close to Beach areas as well , safe to walk to and from any hotel.

The area is well suited for a family beach holiday. To access shopping districts, the best restaurants or nightlife you need to drive 10-30 min and there are frequent traffic jams on the island's small roads. Mullet Bay Beach is nice and not very crowded. Even more gorgeous place for a day on the beach is on Ilet Pinel. It is on the other side of the island but well worth the drive. We also liked Orient Beach but it was a bit more crowded. The best restaurants are in the Simpson's Bay area, but there several nice-looking restaurants in Cupecoy also. The best place for shopping groceries is the large Carrefour supermarket on Union Road. The smaller Carrefours in Cupecoy have more limited selection. There is also a small chinese market on Jordan Drive in Cupecoy but the service was rude and prices high.

I enjoyed the privacy and the beach/pool access. However cleanliness was poor as well as other services. Staff was no available when needed as well there was also no form of entertainment as well as clocks to tell them time. Power source wasn’t consistent. Neither was the wifi

Had one night here which was amazing so decided to book another for the last night of our honeymoon. Very disappointing, no room till 5pm which meant no shower or catch up on sleep. Front desk did their best but place clearly over streched that day which is a real shame as left a bitter taste at the end. No complimentary room to use and no late check out available. Quick to take the money but didn't live up to its reputation that day. Food and drink ace, once we settled.

Big resort with lots of amenities, restaurants were a bit far from our room building but you can access by walking or car, Room was very spacious and it was also a great set up. Breakfast was great and the view was spectacular
