Located in central Kars, Hotel Kent Ani is less than 1.2 mi to the Kars Castle. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with heating, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and mini-bar. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. My train from Erzurum to Kars was delayed but the staff was waiting for me until midnight. The girl is very helpful and speaks very good English. She told me where to take the bus to Ani. The location is very good. Room is clean and bathroom is nice. Bed is very comfortable as well. Breakfast is simply but good. Good value for the price.

We loved this place because it is quiet, super clean, convenient to the most important sites in Kars, and has a very friendly host who is there for anything one might need. She is a wonderful lady and always available to help you out or to have a cup of tea with. The house is located on a small foot path, so there are no cars driving by at night. Our room was large with a comfy bed and good lighting and a private bathroom which had lots of hot water and amenities. The wifi was fast. You have access to a washer and a kitchen with a fridge and gas stove if you want to do any of your own cooking. The kitchen for the guests is also stocked with tea and coffee. It's like having your own home in Kars. We highly recommend it and will stay here again.
