Located in Dete, 1.8 mi from The Teak (Hwange Safari Lodge), Gwango Elephant Lodge features accommodations with access to a garden with a barbecue. A patio with forest views is offered in each unit. The location was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful, the safari guide in particular.

Gwango Heritage Resort features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Dete. Guests can use a bar. At the resort, the rooms include a desk. The whole structure is super nice, with information about the area and the culture. All areas are lovely decorated. There is also a reconstruction of a local village that can be seen. The room is large and clean, the bathroom huge and we had elephants visiting the garden in the morning. The restaurant is also good.
