You can make your breakfast in the morning and take off to see the local sights and everything is close. You can actually see the top of the Sanctuary (with all the steps) from the windows. It is quiet and the bed is comfy. Our bus didn't leave till mid afternoon and the hosts let us stay an extra couple hours-thanks.

Isabel and her husband met us on arrival and were very friendly and welcoming. The house is located on a hill looking onto the town and has wonderful views but is also within a few minutes' walk from the centre of town.

We booked last minute to stay and enjoy a fantastic dinner at Quinta de Sao Bernardo 1km away. The property and the family were adorable. They waited later dor us to arrive so they could greet us. The apartment is immaculate and they left us port and cake to try in the room. There is a coffee machine with capsules and a kicthen and fridge. You can park your car directly at the house too. It was such a suprise and warm hospitable feeling for our trip, we left an extra tip at the end. Thank you so much 😌🙏🍷
