Just about everything was outstanding. The room was stunningly furnished, large and clean, as was the bathroom. Ann and staff were most welcoming, very professional, helpful and friendly. Overall Glendine House is a lovely location in itself and: only 2km away from the next beach, 14km from Hook Lighthouse, not too far from Tintern Abbey and walkable to Dunbrody Abbey. However, a car is a must, which was fine for us. Hook Peninsula did not feel crowded at all whilst the scenery is just gorgeous and the sights are all well preserved.

Paul was a lovely host and welcomed us with tasty, hand-made gifts such as an apple pie, bread, rubrhab jam, etc., which made us feel at home. The house was clean and comfy. We enjoy taking a short walk to the beautiful beach nearby. Highly recommend! Many thanks!

It is a beautiful structure, very comfortable and with an interior design totally appropriate to it's age. There are lots of nice touches throughout, warm, a fine bathroom, a well stocked kitchen and extras like an electric blanket. The room in the upper floor would thrill a young person with three porthole windows! Lovely gardens. Park using the gate to the right of the main entrance for more room. Owner attended to a small plumbing issue so fast and well, a really excellent service. It was a real treat to stay.

One of 2 log cabins in hosts back garden. Very well thought out. Excellent attention to detail. Fully equipped kitchen with hob, mini oven, microwave, air fryer, fridge, kettle, tea, coffee and condiments. Digital TV with numerous channels which we could not get to work but host was with us within minutes to sort it once I messaged them. Keysafe to access property so very convenient for hassle free check in and checkout. Aldi within a couple of minutes drive.
