Great view on the balcony, comfortable bed, super nice staff offering great delicious food and giving helpful advices regarding the life in the bay and what things to do. They even have a super cute hotel cat called Chocopie which used to cuddle all the time. The accommodation and the bay in general had a very nice laid-back vide what made it perfect for someone seeking for some relaxation and for those who want to experience the local life. We also had the opportunity to rent snorkels and fill up our water for free and to get discount on food as well as their paddles and kayaks. We absolutely loved it there!

Right between the jungle and a beautiful secluded beach. It was extremely comfortable and clean (is really hard to keep anything on a tropical beach clean) and food was delicious.

Omg - Where do I start? Sam is lovely! The house is lovely! The village is lovely! This whole island is lovely!! The moment it set a foot on M‘Pai Bay I decided that I would like to stay longer. Sam made it happen ♥️ she’s such a great host! Always helping you out and gives you a lot of information about what’s going on on the island, where to eat, where to chill etc. she always took care of me and was checking if everything is ok. Thanks Sam!♥️ The room has everything you need for an unforgettable stay. The perks of traveling is that you meet great people and great places. But the downside is that you have to say goodbye to them ♥️

Loved this guesthouse, really felt at home here, the decor is great. The property is clean with several communal areas inside and out. The bed is super comfy. Ellen is a fantastic host, very approachable and easy to communicate with prior to arriving. In addition, the coffee was great!

Anyone who hasn't come to live in his house, I'll be sorry for you. Very clean and tidy room, cool at night, no mosquitoes. There's a beautiful garden out front where you can lie in a hammock all day. Mon and his wife are very warm and friendly. Their babies are cute, too. The neighbors are also very welcoming. Close to the beach, you can pay a little money to have a delicious lunch at his house, which is cheaper than outside restaurants. Anyone coming to this island I recommend renting a canoe for $5 and paddling around the island for an afternoon. Much more exciting than surfing and diving. Unfortunately, the vacation is too short. Our stay at Sok Mean Bungalows was one of the best accomodation experiences we've had. The bungalows are simple, spacious, very clean and the bed super comfortable. They're equipped with a fan and a mosquito net. The fan, for the weather we caught, was enough to sleep comfortably. There's a restaurant with very flavourful and cheap food. Some of the best fried rice we've had in Cambodia. You can also have your breakfast there, right in front of the beach and share a delicious free tea with Sok! They also have kayaks at an amazing price. One of the high points was definitely the family and the owner, Sok, in particular. He made us feel at home, was a great company and a very good cards player! He knows a lot about how to get around and has some very good suggestions to improve your stay. Definitely do the snorkeling, fishing and plankton tour and the fresh fish barbecue Sok will invite you to.

Firstly, the location is fantastic. The bungalows are a super short walk from the Orchid Pier. Secondly, the staff is so nice and welcoming. Thirdly, they give you a 20 liter jug of water that you can use for drinking water (this is all included). The beds were comfortable, the fan worked great, and the mosquito net did it's job. While there is no restaurant on site, several nice places to eat are a short stroll away. After staying at the more "luxury" places along the beach during previous stays on the island, we felt more at home and more comfortable at Sunny Bungalows.

I needed a quiet, chilled place, where I could do some private projects online. It is directly on the beach and 100 metres from the ferry. Even when the season gets hotter, there is always a nice breeze, and the fans do the rest. There is a very nice crowd of staff and volunteers, who are attracted to this amazing place. Beautiful common area with always someone to chat with - that is if you want. The room with AC had sea and jungle view, which is especially nice from the second floor. There are many activities like yoga, boat rides, kayaking, snorkeling, Karaoke, or movie nights. In my case, I just enjoyed the quiet. So there is something for everyone. It would actually be a suitable location for medium- to long-term digital nomads, with a large common area and many power plugins. Good choice of excellent breakfast.

12/10 would stay here again! My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights and it truly felt like our home away from home. The location was perfect; a two minute walk to the beach and is near bars/restaurants. The staff/owners are the kindest people and put in a lot of care to ensure that their guests are comfortable. Our biggest regret about the whole trip was that we never ordered Mela's famous dumplings! We know better for next time though. Cannot recommend enough!
