The staff is very nice, the place is clean and cheap, bed is comfy, they have internet (which we didn't know before), food is good, you can borrow books and they have water at your disposal. We were in-between two rooms and being sensitive to noise it was hard to sleep for me because the neighbours often didn't give a damn about the noise they make and walls are paper. You can also hear the kitchen in the morning so if you're a light sleeper like me, (even with earplugs) be aware of that ^^ But still it depends on the travelers next door really and it doesn't change the fact that this place is totally worth it !

Everything was amazing, staff were super friendly, the tent was great so comfortable and the little fans at night made such a difference. We loved waking up on the beach! Highly recommend anyone coming here to walk over to sunset beach and stay here, the walk isn't too bad at all! Just make sure you get the right ferry to the island as it makes the walk a lot shorter. 100% will be back 😃

Sam was the best host ever, she knew the best spots for snorkelling, where to go to see the plankton at night, best places to eat in town, best routes for hiking. MPai Bay is a small place but we would have had to go on private tours to do all the things we did if we hadn't had Sam's advice.

Ellen made us feel at home immediately. We felt so comfortable here in her beautiful property. The rooms are lovely, clean, and cool with the over head fan. The property also has a great balcony with hammock and view over the village. Ellen gave us great advice on what to do and where to eat in the bay as the food there is excellent. We didn’t want to leave.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf bij Baloo gehad. Het guesthouse ligt op 5 minuten lopen van het strand en dorp wat voor ons helemaal top was. Het bed lag heerlijk. Door de lieve eigenaren voelde het erg vertrouwd.

If you are looking for an authentic island life is the place to be. We spent unforgettable vacation there. The bungalows have all you need. Comfortable beds, mosquitos net, bathroom and nice terrace. The staff and the owner are great. We made together a bbq with fresh fish and vegetables. The location was perfect, on the beach and a few minutes walk from the pier. Our Sunny Bungalow was exactly as we had hoped: a simple wooden hut, with a relaxing veranda, hidden among lush vegetation. We certainly weren't expecting luxury and that's probably why we found our bungalow surprisingly comfortable. Bedroom was very spacious and clean, having al the essential basics we needed for our budget beach holiday. Yes, all what’s written in other reviews about the room’s not completely closed is true, but that's what characterizes (and what we like so much about) this type of accommodation. Just don’t keep food in your bungalow and you’ll have absolutely no problem with the local wildlife. Bathroom was huge and very clean as well. Ánd made of stone, so more privacy (noise) and no walk-in/fly-in insects. It was very windy on Saracen Beach when we were there, but since the bungalows were in the backyard of the beachside café we were able to enjoy our veranda without wind. That was really nice. Service was super friendly and attentive. Dimang and his staff were always available for information and help. We were 100% happy that we chose to stay at Sunny Bungalows and would definitely book this place again on a future visit.

The bungalows are located directly at the very end of Saracen Beach, where you have perfect tranquility and a splendid beach. Extremely friendly staff and good restaurant. Even came to pick me up from the other side of the beach after arriving on the island
