The nice ice cold drinking water at one of the stores in this village, not to mention the two 'made to be' cold codys beer I never expected but had in the island. The warm reception at a rest hole by an artistic local soul. The dive in the Atlantic from this island. A 13,000 cfa per kg of fresh sea lobsters for dinner. Plus a 1000 cfa large squid, it was the best deal.

This is the best swimming pool in the south of Senegal. I visited this Villa with my wife and my newborn, just family time. The set up was just perfect for a weekend get away. There is a fishing town nearby and also Kayaks if looking for an outdoor activity

Amazing service, genuinely impressive food in a rustic but perfectly comfortable setting where you feel cut off from the world. They cater very well to vegetarians. The swimming area and dock are relaxing and sunsets beautiful, the free kayaks are a great plus as well. The pace is slow and relaxed, but the horseback/cart rides were a nice break from the water for a longer stay.

Very nice place in the beaitiful Mar Lodj with friendly owners. Our favorite part was food, we had 2 dinners and a lunch, and they were all super delicious.
