The dorm room I stayed in was super clean and the bed was comfortable. It is very close to many restaurants and the hostel owner is very lovely. She was very helpful with booking a 2 day boat trip and a bus back to Hanoi :)

Everything was perfect. Felt like in paradise for a couple of days. The woman cooking dinner for us was the nicest person ever. Food was amazing and in huge quantities (a bit less would be better to be honest). Peaceful and relaxing stay. Would love to come back !

Everything. The family hosts, the quiet and gorgeous location, the friendly and hilarious neighbors, the easily rented motorbike, the snuggly kitten, the delicious food and food and more food, the huge bed and perfect room, the opportunity to have a real experience with real Vietnamese with no touristy nonsense. After Hanoi, this was a perfect place to settle for 3 nights. I added an extra because I felt so at home. You can sense Phuong and her husband truly are geniune and caring people. I loved it.

This property was super clean and just tucked away from the main streets so it was nice and quiet. I booked here and spending a few days on the Ha Giang Loop and I’m so grateful I did! I slept great and the host is the most kind and accommodating. He booked all of my trips and transportation for me - it felt nice to not have to use my brain!

It was located close to the bay (5min walk) but in an alley so there was not too much noise! The place was SO CLEAN and really beautifully decorated !! There are a lot of places close by to eat.

The family was charming; they greeted us warmly upon arrival. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. Although the bathroom was at the end of the hallway, it was private for us. We asked them to prepare dinner for us (they had a price list), and the food was plentiful and delicious. The woman also offers cooking classes, which we would have taken if we had more time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place and wholeheartedly recommend it 100%.

Very nice people. They let us check in early and showed us the house from top to bottom. The apartment was a very large space, good for families. A washing machine on the third floor and two bathrooms made it very convenient. There is a darling tiny Daschund who lives next door who came and visited us every day. We had a scooter and a bicycle at our disposal, which made going to the old town very quick. The apartment is in a local area with lots of food options. There is a nice little bar called “Trang Draft Beer” that is run by a local woman right next door. Don’t be scared about how it looks. The proprietor speaks great English and offered up stories and local dishes for us tourists not familiar with real Vietnamese food. The beer is cold, food delicious, and the prices cheap. We ate here twice during our trip for under $8 USD for our family of three with three beers each. On the other hand, you can walk 1-2 km into the tourist part of town by the water and pay much higher prices.

Everything was nice. The place is clean, big and comfortable. The breakfast is ok. There is a fridge in the room and hot water 😁 The only thing missing in our opinion was drinkable water (but it doesn't look like it's included in Vietnam).
