There is no similar setting anywhere like that. Hosts are wonderful - waited for us though we arrive very later. The breakfast was excellent.

Great homemade breakfast with an enjoyable atmosphere. The room was very cozy and had a nice view over the bay. Alain and Denise have been great hosts and gave us a lot of useful tips and information including a small live concert for breakfast.

The Water's Edge Inn & Gallery is located in Baddeck, overlooking the Bras d’Or Lakes. The uniquely decorated rooms have free Wi-Fi access and a cable TV. All the units enjoy a small seating area. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Mainly, the couple that runs the place - Ann and Jeff - are very hospitable and friendly people and go out of their way to please their guests. They also run an art gallery at the same location. Location: Baddeck is a great location for the Cabot Trail and Cape Breton Highlands National Park and is not far from the ferry terminal to Newfoundland at North Sydney. It is a small town where everyone knows everyone and the people are very friendly.

A restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner is located next to this waterfront property. the owner is very nice, introduced very much. the cottage 100 meters to beach. we bought a bundle of firewood and made fire.
