Great place to stay outside of town in the ‘jungle’, monkeys, humming birds inclusive. The wooden homes are equipped with everything you need for a longer stay. Modern, clean and comfortable. 5min drive from Samara Beach. Friendly and helpful host. Definitely recommend staying here!

LA QUEBRADA ECO LODGE Hotel Boutique offers accommodations in Potrero, 30 miles from Edgardo Baltodano Briceño Stadium and 31 miles from Marina Papagayo. Amazing place to rest and chill after long day. Excellent breakfast with super service and hospitality from the owners.

Favela Chic Tamarindo - Adults Only in Tamarindo provides adults-only accommodations with free bikes and a garden. This property offers a private pool, free Wifi, and free private parking. The place was awesome, nice big and clean room with a lot of space, great for couples. It's peaceful and it just 10 minutes away from the center of town. We really liked it, and the staff was nice and helpful.

Just a few steps from Tamarindo Beach and a 14-minute walk from Langosta Beach, Casa del Sol features accommodations in Tamarindo, with a garden. Very close to the beach, literally across the road. Clean room, comfortable bed, good A/C, nice bathroom with hot shower. Fridge in the room. Kitchen has cold and hot water for drinking, and the necessary you need to cook basic meals. You have your own little patio with a sofa, table and chairs and a hammock.

Located in Ocotal, Guesthouse Casa Avi Fauna offers an outdoor pool and outdoor kitchen. This homestay accommodations has air conditioning, a private bathroom with hot water, and free Wi-Fi. The guesthouse is run by the owners without staff. Both are multi-lingual, very friendly and are very knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed our conversations with them. Both the site and the room were clean and pleasing to the eye. The rooms are also individually air conditioned. An out-door kitchen is maintained where guests take care of their own breakfasts and other meals. The pool (not chlorinated) is clean and deep. The site is relatively remote and very quiet, thus of course, we had a variety of bird life come and visit. The road to the guesthouse is surfaced but narrow and with steep grades typically found in the area. The site is close to Ocotal Beach and several other beaches.
