Sarah and Ricardo were amazing hosts, they are very helpful and nice. This is a perfect place to stay if you want to get away from everything and just chill. The view and the vibe is excellent. I stayed 5 nights and every day was full of new experiences, fresh food, friendly faces and access to kitchen and fridge. They guys showed me the best spots to surf and also provided with tips. Among the best places to stay in Mompiche if you are looking for surf vibes.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, La Caleta is set in Mompiche, 50 metres from Mompiche Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a patio. Amazing place and amazing owners!! You can hear the waves while you sleep. Located right in the middle of Mompiche. The owner was extremely accommodating, helpful and made you feel very welcome. He helped me with everything from surfboard rental to bus schedules to and from Mompiche. Only place I’ve been to in Ecuador with a mosquito net around the bed which I appreciate. Can’t beat the price and I’ll definitely be staying here again when I come back to surf the point 🤙
