Offering a garden and sea view, ログコテージ風の丘 is situated in Tōbetsu, 22 km from Goryokaku Park and 23 km from Hakodate Goryokaku. Staff was amazing and friendly! The cabin is cute and the beds were cozy! Everything was very clean, and they even helped us set up a personal Karaoke machine!

View out the front is amazing and so peaceful…way up over the Japan sea looking to Mount Hakodate and the nightly squid fishing boats. Hosts are more than Hosts - helped with every detail needing clarification. Found me a fly fishing guide and shared wonderful food and drinks with me. Location is remote (not far from the bullet train tracks that hiss by - not bothersome) but close to Hakodate, hiking and nice local onsen. Hakodate is definitely a unique Japanese city, very laid-Back, interesting history and on the verge of becoming a major tourist attraction - so visit soon.

LuLu Stay is situated in Wakkanai, 32 km from Cape Soya, 700 metres from Wakkanai Station, as well as 4.1 km from Noshappu Aquarium. They were very helpful with ideas for further travel and where to eat in town. They also gave us a voucher for the ofuro in town.
