It was incredible! The house is amazing, stylish, super clean, cozy and comfortable. The best stay we had in Portugal. The owner was super responsive and kind (let us stay few hours longer without additional charge). Highly recommended!

It is the perfect place for a family stay. The house had everything we needed to cook the food, both inside and outside. It is a quite place with a fantastic view over the vineyards and the river. Our kid enjoyed the pool area, especially when the lovely donkey Nikita came by :) The territory is well kept and the staff is polite (and even easy and interesting to speak with even if you don't speak Portuguese). It allowed me to interact with local people, share a coffee in the local bakery and walk to all the nearby shops and restaurants.

Amazing views & lovely house with everything we needed. Everyone had a fantastic holiday. The only decisions were whether to swim in the pool or the river which was surprisingly warm. We loved watching the river cruise boats go past too! It is a remote and very peaceful location which was exactly what we were looking for. Lovely sandy beach below the house. Awoken to cockerels and sheep bells tinkling! A rural idyll. Shops & supermarkets in Cinfaes only 10 to 15 min drive away.

Located direct on the Douro River, Quinta da Ermida is surrounded by lush countryside and contains an outdoor pool. Guests can moor their own boats to the jetty or enjoy a boat tour. We loved it the first time and always come back here. Make sure you book your dinner in advance: by the fireplace, you will never forget. And you may pickup oranges to take home if you wish.

Unbeatable views of the Douro river and valley. Nothing compares to opening the bedroom large window in the morning to be greeted with such a view. Loved the outside area. Very tranquil and surr ounded with various fruit trees.
