Located within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, Quinta Do Moinho overlooks the Mondego River. It offers apartments with free WiFi and a TV. I loved this property beside the river. It felt like we had stepped back in time. Our host Sylvia was lovely and helpful. We cooled off in the pool and then sat beside the river having a drink before dinner. It was perfect.

We got free jams, bread, pasta etc. everything was there in the house! Amazing sunset views and such a nice host Rosa even though we didn’t speak Portuguese. Quite a beautiful but steep and narrow route to get to the house. 10/10, really recommend going if you plan on visiting the National park near by. It’s truly an adventure to get there and is a contrast to the city life.
