Casa Delta 106 enjoys a quiet location in the Danube Delta, 1200 metres from the Black Sea, and features self-catered accommodation with free WiFi, and a large yard with barbecue facilities. I had my own small cabin with all the necessary equipment in a charming cosy countryhouse in the middle of Sfântu Gheorghe. Beautiful and peaceful beach in walking distance. The host was utmost caring and helpful, she arranged a phantastic excursion to the Delta for me. The best place for cosy holidays in Delta Dunarii!

Set within the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve, Vila Alga is located in Sulina, a town accessible only by boat. Rooms here have a private balcony with beautiful views. The owners are great, the room is spacious and stylish, beddings are comfortable. Sulina is like my dream town,quiet, a bit isolated and seemingly on the edge of something (at the end of the ferry on the Danube estuary and after that just the Black Sea). There's a spit/peninsula that goes a few KM out into the water and eventually to a lighthouse, but we didn't go that far and I'm not sure if it's possible to go all the way to the end by walking. Taking out my GPS along the route, you pass within 3 KM of the Ukrainian border.

There's a bakery right downstairs, a supermarket and restaurants all around. Just a great location. The host was lovely and very responsive.
