One of the best hotels we have stayed at. The staff were amazing. The jacuzzi in the deluxe sea view rooms was everything and we enjoyed one every evening. You can rent mopeds at the hotel too which is really convenient and is only 200 baht for the day. The cafe on site does amazing coffees and is air conditioned. The beach is fab and very peaceful unlike other beaches in Thailand. There is normally a Tuk tuk outside the property to go elsewhere.

Walden is a place built and looked after with thought and care, both for its beautiful natural surroundings by the sea and for the people who stay there. Thank you Paul for creating a place that is so true to the philosophy that it’s based on. All in all: clean tiny homes equipped with everything you need; the best host; amazing beach, sea and lounging areas; great locality with massages, bars and restaurants nearby; killer sunset; heaven for animal lovers.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lanta Happy House and wish to thank Nen, the proprietor, and his family for the warm welcome. Nen was always available to provide advice, rent us a scooter, drive us in his 3-wheel Tuk-tuk, organize a fishing excursion, a 4-island group excursion and the speedboat journey from Koh Lanta to Koh Lipe and so much more. The room was large and very clean and comfortable. The property has only 3 contiguous rooms on one side and two bungalows on the other side. There are two nice sheltered sitting areas. A great restaurant (Ann's Easy Food) at the bottom of the street (a must for travelers - the food is very good). Nen did everything he could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location is an 8-minute walk to the main road and 12 minutes to Khlong Kong beach. No problem at all for anyone who enjoys walking. Many restaurants and shops on the Main Street and on the beach. After 2 days of our 7-day stay, we rented a scooter from Nen and drove all over the west side of the island. We highly recommend Lanta Happy House to travelers visiting Koh Lanta.
