I booked for one night but ended up staying several nights. It is very clean and spacious. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. Feels like sleeping in clouds haha.. The bathroom is also very clean and comes with the basic toiletries. The breakfast is delicious and the host is amazing!!! She's very friendly and I felt like home the moment I stepped in the hostel. The pool table is one of the best ones I've played on in vietnam. I 100% recommend this hostel!

Thang is an amazing host. He helped us book transport to and from the island, and helped us with anything we needed before and after the stay. The place itself is amazing. You can explore the area on paddle boards or small boat. Activities like Deep Water Solo will pick you up directly from the home stay. I don't think you could book a more interesting home stay on Cat Ba than this.

I like specially the work of all the crew members, commanded by Mr Hill are very efficient and nice. And the food was amazing. All the dishes were incredible!! The view of the room was magnificent and the room was too nice!!

Our last trip to Vietnam was 3 days and 2 nights on the elite of the sea. We just wanted to relax on the boat, so we chose this elite of the sea, the most expensive and newest of the many cruising plans. We chose this cruising plan because we wanted to have a memorable time and to be free from stress. DANIEL (we called him by his Vietnamese name NAM) was in charge of us and assisted us throughout the cruise. NAM, who had been in Nagasaki, Japan, could speak a little Japanese and was a kind young man with a very polite and beautiful smile. We asked NAM to take care of everything. When we returned to the ship, NAM greeted us and made us feel at home, and the Vietnamese coffee he specially made for us was delicious and made the start of our day even more special. We also took part in some of the activities on our honeymoon. We were taken kayak and to a private beach. For outside activities, Harry, the customer service representative, attends to all the passengers. His cheerful, friendly, customer-first high level of hospitality was excellent and very educated, as was NAM.They are both very professional and friendly and high hospitality. Halong Bay had more trash than I expected and smelled in some places. But the scenery was amazing and the atmosphere was warm and wonderful as we became friends with the Colombian, Norwegian and Vietnamese couples we had the good fortune to board with for three days. There are many cruises out there, but I don't think you will find a cruise with better facilities, better service, and a more stress-free experience than the elite of the sea. I highly recommend this trip!!!!! Thank you Nam for the best time!!!!!! We will miss you very much!!!

CornerCatBa se găsește în Cat Ba, la 15 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Tung Thu, și are o grădină, o terasă, un bar și parcare privată gratuită. We had the best time in CornerCatBa. The host family couldn’t be any kinder. Thanh helped us to book Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay tour, transfers from/to Hanoi and Ninh Binh, did the laundry for us, recommended restaurants and cafes and cooked delicious breakfasts. She also helped to arrange a taxi for us to take us to Cat Ba National Park and even prepared bahn mi, snacks and water for us for free. The location of the accommodation was also great away from all the noise of Cat Ba Town with a beautiful view of the lake. We felt very special to experience Vietnamese hospitality and authentic experience. Thanh (our host) was so generous and kind, we felt like part of the family from the moment we arrived. If you want to experience true Vietnamese hospitality, look no further.

Situated in Ha Long, 600 metres from Queen Cable Car Station, The Bay - Ha Long Homestay features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy in the balcony or lush common area. The Bay was a small and very cozy apartment with very beautifully designed-decorated rooms around a small cute courtyard. Its minimal environment was enriched by perfect details such as stairs and balconies becoming a green public garden with ivies, or the kitchen with all the complete wares for cooking, keeping and sharing food and drinks. smooth colours and well-chosen paintings on the walls create a nice and warm atmosphere where everything was very clean and well maintained. The Location was on the other side of the center of Ha Long. in Bai Chay, where there is a more local and scaled relationality rather than huge same buildings, homestay is very close for an easily reaching neighborhood life. And Tung, the host was very helpful about giving tips for visiting places, food and transportation around both the bay and the neighborhood. We had a motorbike rental and travel around easily. So, it became a very good stay enriching its price which we can highly recommend.

This place was perfect!! Great location, super clean, i mean so clean you could literally eat off the floor!! Beautiful smoking lounge on the rooftop. Great location with a short walk to the center. We had breakfast every morning prepared by the owners wife that was absolutely delicious and the highlight was when the owner Mr Throng would come up to your table each morning with his own home brewed fruity Rice wine and pour you a shot with him and say “This is how we say good morning in vietnam” and believe me it was good, so good i asked him for a second round ;) Mr throng was very helpful with booking us an excursion the first day and renting his bike, he even pulled out a map of the island explaining to us in detail what route to take to get to the near by attractions and how long it would take and timed it perfectly so that we would reach the Jetty on the otherside of the island on time for a beautiful sunset. he even advised us about the money exchange rates in Cat ba advising us to try our best to pay by card or local currency and to save our dollars to exchange them in a bigger city so that the we would get a higher rate. his genuine character and warm personality made our stay in Cat ba a memorable one for sure! Would definitely without a doubt recommend Cat ba central homestay to anyone that is planing to visit and would definitely stay here if we ever return to cat bar in the future!!!!
