This was a near perfect hotel experience. From letting us keep our bags there whilst we flew to Alice Springs for 3 days to the seamlessness of just actually staying there, it was all excellent. The location is great for both the city and the river. We had a river view room and the view over the Oval, Festival theatre and the river was stunning. I didn't book a room with a balcony as we find we don't use them, but this time I wished that I had done. The bed was comfortable, there were complimentary snacks and a bottle of wine for my birthday arranged by the wonderful concierge, Lavinia. I loved the iPad to control the room and anything else that you needed for your stay. The staff were good without being too obsequious; when the remote broke, we had a new one within 30 mins and a sorry for putting us through that! The casino was huge but didn't impact on our stay, and the bar and restaurant were fab! The mixologist made me the best Cosmopolitan even though it wasn't on the menu. This was also the first hotel to have both a rubbish bin and a recycling bin.

The staff on arrival, unfortunately I didn't get the ladies' names, were so friendly helpful and full of knowledge . I was very pleasantly surprised.

It was spotlessly clean and spacious. Great to have a carpark and location was brilliant. Gorgeous place to stay - and a few wee treats from hosts on arrival were muchly appreciated

The locadtion was excellent. The host was amazingly helpful. We appreciated the speed of the booking arrangement and the patience of our host. The kitchen is well equipped, the icemaker brilliant, the bathroom well equipped and lots of thoughtful touches to make the stay more enjoyable.

The property was very clean, spacious, quiet and well equipped. It was in a good location. The hosts were very friendly , helpful and kind. They even took us to the railway station to catch The Ghan train on the morning of our departure. Lovely people.

Location. Opposite the beach and close to family. Plenty of walking trails and a short drive to restaurants and shops.
