Beautiful setting, just wanted to stay longer as each day passed.

Amandine was a perfect hostess and was very helpful, cheerful and friendly. The Villa was immaculate with lovely thoughtful extras like speciality tea selection and a homely treat jar . I loved the way the Villa supported local produce such as locally produced luxury toiletries and arcachon speciality teas. The atmosphere in the Villa was relaxed and peaceful and it was evident that it was loved. The design details were charming , from designer lighting, to demi manivelle door knobs, stone staircase, tasteful sculptures and a lovely selection of coffee table books which we enjoyed browsing through. The outdoor area was well maintained with lovely pool and flowering shrubs and the rustling sound of fan palm leaves in the breeze. As the temperatures were in the late 30 s it was lovely to have access to the lovely red roof tiled gazebo for shade. Breakfast was available on request and Amandine ensured that personal preferences were accommodated as was the options of having it indoors or outside in the garden. Acces to the kitchen facilities for self catering for breakfast , lunch and dinner was a valued bonus. We also had access to bicycles to cycle into the centre of arcachon, which is only 10 mins away and all downhill :-) All in all the attention to detail and service was excellent. So much so that we had pre booked for 3 nights but loved the place so much that we extended to 6 nights. An absolute gem, beautiful location, charming Villa inside and out and wonderful staff that give great love and attention making it a very enjoyable, memorable and relaxing stay. Thank you so much to Amandine and her colleague ( whose name I’m sorry I can’t recall ), keep up the wonderful work.

Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and competent. Breakfast was terrific, with homemade pasteries as well as yogurt, fresh fruit, bread, homemade jams and jellies and more. The house is charming, in an old restored villa with abundant art work and immaculate and modern bathrooms. The location was close to the best beach and walking/bicycling trails on one side, and charming Arcachon center on the other.

Wonderfully relaxing and welcoming hotel. Quiet location but just a few minutes' walk to the beach. Some good restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and helped us feel comfortable with our basic French. Most staff speak good English - but some use of French is going to go a long way. Breakfasts are excellent, for an extra charge. Parking was available on the street in front of the hotel. We warmly recommend the Villa du Moulleau!

We had a great stay. The location is very good (beach, city center, train station, all in walking distance), and the house was very nice, clean, well equipped and decorated. The contact with the landlord and the concierge was very friendly and efficient. Can definitely recommend this house for a family holiday!

The best part of this small apartment is undoubtedly the view, it was therefore unfortunate that it did not have 2 comfortable chairs that guests could sit on to fully enjoy this feature. The location is good, bed was comfortable, and overall the apartment is outfitted well, except for the more comfortable chairs and functional table.

Gorgeous apartment. Safe and secure. Free parking facilities. It was spotlessly clean and had the most comfortable beds, in both rooms. Beautifully furnished with nice lighting and lamps. All very good quality stuff tbroughout. Had a very well equipped kitchen, again with good quality fittings & utensils. Location very good, but probably need a car , although very close to beach. Couldn't fault anything at all in the apartment.
