Beautifully furnished, excellent location, brilliant and friendly owners and amazing breakfasts. First time staying at The Calm Sea Guesthouse and I can't recommend this place highly enough and look forward to returning in the future.

Chapter 2: what a place to stay! Don't make your judgement before you enter the hotel. But then ... the 'narrators' provide an incredible welcome, look for the matching details in the rooms which are named after famous novels. To name but one ... the curtain design matches the cover of the novel the room is named after ... and in the morning you must try the chef's cappuccino, a dream! And if you need a place for dinner follow the narrators' suggestions.

Our twin room was small but had everything we needed, including lots of storage. The view of the beach was stunning, and the noise of the road was very minimal. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and served in a room with a view. Arrival and check-out were super easy. We were able to leave our bags to collect later in the day. The location was fab, close to the train station and to beautiful coastal walks. Friendly owners who chatted with us about local walks and recommendations of where to eat. Can't wait to return!

Me and my husband had a lovely break away we stayed in dolphin hotel pubic house the hotel was lovely and clean the room was very spacious bed was very comfortable the hosts linda and Alan was very welcoming, lovely people and very friendly , we will definitely be coming back to stay again

Friendly, welcoming host. Last minute booking. Did not get chance to sample the cuisine as we overslept and had to rush out missing breakfast. It looked good though.
