Great view of the port and sea from the whole flat and balcony. Large, light and airy flat, interior sparkling clean with large brand new fitted kitchen . Perfect position to really experience all the restaurants/ bars within the beautiful port area. As we were out of season parking was not a problem and free, so very easy to visit all the island. Mario and his sister were extremely welcoming.

A free shuttle bus to the beach and port is available. The characteristic hamlet of Giglio Porto is 15 minutes away on foot. The medieval hamlet of Giglio Castello is easily reached by a bus that stops in front of the hotel. Staff can organise excursions around the island.

We booked this for a two night stay- and we will be back! The pictures are accurate, it’s gorgeous. Despite being higher up on the island we never felt like this was an issue- walking to the harbour takes barely 10 minutes and the hotel offer a shuttle service to and from the hotel/beaches which was always punctual, just make sure you mention this in advance. You can also rent an electric scooter for a very good price, which we did and it was a great way to get around the island. The staff were fantastic, the facilities are old school Italian but working and in good condition, breakfast is simple but great. Will recommend to others as well.
