Our stay was perfect. Dona Fernanda and her Mother areis amazing persons and makes sure your stay will be amazing. Her breakfast is unbelievable good and generous. We stayed at the apartment and is a very nice facility. The bed is very comfortable. The place is very quiet. We would come back again and highly recommend staying at Casa Alva.

The welcoming of Julio and Marta was warm and throughout the whole stay we felt like being part of a family. The breakfast was custom made according to our choice and needs, everything was fresh and delicious. Waking up and having the sweetest breakfast surrounded by nature and love made our hearts warm. The room was beautiful, with impeccable details and decorated with great taste. Everything is made with care and love. And the dog is so adorable Thank you for this beautiful stay!

The house is very cosy and beautiful. I had a peaceful and regenerating stay. Ludo is a great host. And I also recommend the location. Nearby you can find nice beaches for surfing and good spots to admire the sunset over the ocean.

Kitchen well stocked and whole place spotless . We had a really relaxing and enjoyable stay ... and only 5 mins drive to some great places to eat and 10 mins to a really good supermarket. Arrifana beach close by - excellent for surfing. The pool and garden and outdoor dining area were lovely and the roof terrace was secluded and an added bonus to catch the sunsets.

The rooms with a view to the ocean are better, toilet is great space, clean and spacious . Hostel bar is cool and their burgers are awesome also good price for drinks and food, sunset is great from the bar rooftop

A good steady breeze ensured no bugs in May , cool temps and dry laundry. Very near street parking was readily available in May. The outdoor BBQ and sink were fun to use. Dishwasher makes clean up easy. The outdoor shower to rinse sandy feet was ideal. The front desk dining offered sunset and beach views.

Hosts in the hostel were kind and silent times are respected. The breakfast is ok even if a bit expensive. Perfect if you are a surfer: you will be in a central position, quiete close to relevant beaches
