Everything about this stay was absolutely perfect. The staff at the reception was very professional and kind. The accommodation itself was luxurious and amazing, spacious, modern, clean and gorgeous. We also had a personal driver every time we needed to go to the centre as the NAU Salema village is situated on the top of a steep hill. Therefore the views though! Perfection!!!

I was in the one with the patio and sea view that you see on Booking. When you book look carefully at descriptions because initially that was confusing for me the way it is shown on the website. Yvonne and her mother were so friendly and helpful. I stayed in November so tourist season was pretty much over so the beach and town were not crowded. It is a small town, but that is why I chose it. Incredible view, wonderful sunsets and you can hear the waves at night. Noise was not a problem. No bugs (or a few on patio, but they leave quickly). I'm a "do not like bugs" person and I was relieved. When I walked in my reaction was "oh wow" and wished I could have stayed longer. I stayed 3 nights and kitchen was equipped great for that length of stay and fairly good size for one person or a couple. Many restaurants within less than a 5 minute walk. There is also a screen door to the patio which is nice. Bring your own suntan lotion!

Location perfect, two min walk to beach and shop and restaurants, across the road from bus stop. Spotless room, very comfortable bed. Fridge, kettle, gorgeous balcony with view of the sea. Perfect.

The host Hilde was so helpful. We found the apartment really well stocked for a comfortable stay and the balcony on the third floor has a beautiful view and is quiet and private.

The apartment is great. It's spacious, bright, each room has a million dollar ocean view and it felt very cozy, more like home and never like a hotel. Comfy beds. For 4 people its a jackpot and it doesn't get better than this in Salema. The terrace was also a thing of its own. The apartment is the last one in the building, so you get the privacy, it has a view of the town and the ocean that is equally spectacular both daytime and nighttime. Also you get a bit of mood light and fresh herbs in there. Its a great place to chill after sunset (it can get pretty chilly on the beach due to the ocean breeze). The kitchen was well equipped and it was a pleasure to be in - given that in the town of Salema you can't really get a seat in the restaurant without prior reservation, it did come in very handy. Theres a market in a building downstairs that can cover all your needs, including a very wide selection of wines and fresh bread and pastries in the morning. For large shopping you can drive to larger markets nearby, but they can get very crowded in the afternoon so expect queues. The barbecue was also awesome, especially that you can get freshly caught fish & veg in the morning as well. Theres no air conditioning, but inside the apartment it wasn't that necessary. On the terrace the heat was very intense in the midday though! Sunbathe there and you'll be crispy in no time. The beach is couple minutes away on foot with two ways of access, either downhill but over longer distance or closer, but with stairs. For activities, you can get a lot to keep you busy including dolphin watching, kayaking, snorkeling, etc. Definitely try the surfing lessons in Sagres. The town itself is very touristy but it keeps its original vibe, unlike larger cities nearby. No problems with parking near the apartment, though you'll probably want to be doing all your exploration on foot. Our host (Silvie) was super communicative, helpful and speaks great English.

very clean, spacious apartment in a great location next to the ocean, with complimentary coffee, tea and wine, which were a great surprise when arriving. the hosts were great at comms and it was easy to check in. Big bonus for us was the bakery/bistro downstairs to get breakfast before our day hike.

The hosts replied quickly on questions and were very friendly. The house is nicely equipped with stylish furniture and decoration. The ocean view is amazing to wake up to and start your day with a coffee on the terrace.
