Everything was excellent from arrival to departure. The restaurant was perfect. We had a beautiful lunch and the next day a breakfast that was the best of our total holiday. We plan to go back. Hotel Villadesella is a typical Asturian country house, dating from 1819, set 1.5 km from the town of Ribadesella. It has a restaurant, and an outdoor swimming pool set in large gardens. The hotel was delightful. We had a superior room with views over Ribadesella and to the mountains (despite the rain!!). Breakfast was lovely....fresh and well presented. We wanted to eat before hotel restaurant's opening time of 8.30 in the evening so went next door for bbq ribs and salad....very good!!

We were delighted to stay there as we had stayed at the same hotel some 20 years ago, and although it had been refurbished the owner remembered us. Location, meals, etc were all excellent. The owner even bought us a drink.
