We spend ten wonderful days at Face au Soleil in August with our son. The place is in walking distance to the city centre with restaurants and a daily market. 5 minutes by bike to the beach. The appartments have a great mixture of relaxed stylish funiture and art. Very nice breakfast with fresh orange juice and sometimes crepes (which our son loved ;-) in the patio. Chrystel is a great host and a very lovely and relaxed person. We will come back :-)

Located on the Ile de Ré, 300 metres from the beach, this property offers free WiFi, a garden with trees and bikes loan. Le Bois-Plage en-Ré Beach is 6 km away and can be reached by bike. Lovely garden and great location to visit Ile-de-Ré and the different villages. The free-to-use bikes were very helpful to get around. The owners also helped us with advice on places to visit. You can easily park for free in the streets around the house.

The Maison des Algues offers cosy and unique accommodation located on the Isle of Rhé. It is 100 metres from the beach and has its own private swimming pool. We liked everything about the stay we had there. Our hosts, Jocelyne and Christian, were amazingly helpful, friendly and hospitable, providing lots of information about the area as well as assistance with car hire and transfers. They really made our holiday special. The villages on the island were interesting and very accessible. Each little village had its own quirky cuteness.

This hotel is located halfway between the beach and the village of Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré. It offers 2 heated swimming pools, a hammam, massage treatments and à la carte fitness programs. Warm and friendly facility offering great food. Exploring the island on bikes was lovely and the bikes were in great condition. I also enjoyed a lovely massage.

Offering inner courtyard views, A 150m du port, Le Baia, tout à pied is an accommodation set in Saint-Martin-de-Ré, 27 km from La Rochelle Train Station and 28 km from L'Espace Encan. Fantastic location, within easy walking distance of all amenities yet very quiet. Clean, bright, airy and modern with a cozy feel. Great communication with the host, who helped to make our short stay a great one, with excellent local tips.
