The kitchen is very well stocked with high quality cooking supplies and lots of elegant glassware and dishes. The spacious bathroom has a modern shower and spotlessly clean granite and tile. It was truly a treat to stay in a place that felt like a home away from home.

The house is amazing, stylish, super clean, cozy and comfortable. The best stay we had in Portugal. The owner was super responsive and kind (let us stay few hours longer without additional charge). Highly recommended!

Quinta de Varzielas - Agroturismo se află în Castelo de Paiva și include vedere la piscină, WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. It is the perfect place for a family stay. The house had everything we needed to cook the food, both inside and outside. It is a quite place with a fantastic view over the vineyards and the river. Our kid enjoyed the pool area, especially when the lovely donkey Nikita came by :) The territory is well kept and the staff is polite (and even easy and interesting to speak with even if you don't speak Portuguese). It allowed me to interact with local people, share a coffee in the local bakery and walk to all the nearby shops and restaurants.

Casa da Barragem Douro se află în Cinfães și oferă facilități pentru sporturi acvatice. Amazing views & lovely house with everything we needed. Everyone had a fantastic holiday. The only decisions were whether to swim in the pool or the river which was surprisingly warm. We loved watching the river cruise boats go past too! It is a remote and very peaceful location which was exactly what we were looking for. Lovely sandy beach below the house. Awoken to cockerels and sheep bells tinkling! A rural idyll. Shops & supermarkets in Cinfaes only 10 to 15 min drive away.

Located direct on the Douro River, Quinta da Ermida is surrounded by lush countryside and contains an outdoor pool. Guests can moor their own boats to the jetty or enjoy a boat tour. This was one of the finest places we’ve ever been! The staff is fantastic, the location is literally perfect! The food was wonderful. Only complaint was the beds were a little too firm for our tastes. Also for light sleepers the train coming through a couple times a night might be a problem. But all the other wonderful factors more than made up for any comfort with the beds or sound at night. We had one of the greatest time of our lives there. We absolutely recommend!!!
