From the very warm welcome when we arrived, the lovely hotel tour we were taken on, to the beautifully furnished rooms. Everything felt just right. Like coming home. And not to forget mentioning the rooftop with 360° degree view of marvelous Madeira. Every single just detail seemed to be thoroughly considered when working out the concept of the hotel when it opened in 2019. Light scent of apple in the hallways, a fully equipped kitchen, a Harman Kardon bluetooth speaker and a TV that allowed you to stream your content via Apple AirPlay our Chromecast. What could mid-twenty travelers want more?! Not to forget the rooftop pool, DJ sets on the weekend and drinks that knock your socks off. Prior our arrival the Three House reached out via WhatsApp asking when we would arrive and whether transportation from the airport is needed. Like, did you ever communicate with a hotel through WhatsApp? Whenever we had a question or just wanted to know where the locals eat - we just sent a text and got the greatest recommendations that made our stay in Madeira even more memorable. Every hotel should just do that. It just feels so natural. If you visit Madeira and plan to stay in Funchal, this is the perfect place. It’s location in the city center with free parking let‘s you get to all attractions and Funchal’s old town in no time. Enjoy the traditional meat skewers and drink as much Poncha as you can (take it with ice though). If you fancy something more experimental, try the hotel restaurant with a sundowner drink on the rooftop after. The Three House just gets it how a hotel experience in the twenty first century should be. Thank you!

Beautiful location, lovely staff, spa, swimming pool and bar facilities really good. Lovely touch for complimentary sparkling wine for my partners birthday.

El Aqua Natura Madeira tiene 4 estrellas y ofrece habitaciones elegantes con vistas al océano Atlántico en la localidad pesquera de Porto Moniz, a 45 km al norte del centro de Funchal. Tiene sauna. Fantastic placement with beautiful view towards the agitated sea from balcony. Lovely dinner and terrific breakfast. Spacious room.

Este hotel de diseño ocupa una casa de campo tradicional reformada y ubicada sobre un acantilado con vistas al océano Atlántico en Ponta do Sol, en la costa sur de Madeira. Beautiful views, friendly and attentive staff, very nice breakfast. We were there at the beginning of January and were able to enjoy the outdoor pool and ocean views. We had a car (which we recommend so you have the freedom to explore the whole island) and there is free parking available below the hotel on the street with a lift up to the hotel. We will definitely book in again if we come back to Madeira.

El recientemente renovado Hotel Baía Azul, de 4 estrellas, está situado a 4 minutos a pie de la playa de Funchal. Very good location! I was able to start all of my booked tours from this hotel.

Esta mansión restaurada de Madeira, situada a 900 metros del centro histórico de Funchal, ofrece terrazas y jardines botánicos con vistas panorámicas al mar, a la ciudad y a las montañas. Everything about this property was amazing. The staff were wonderful, the rooms were spacious and clean, the location was perfect…. Close enough to walk into town, but far enough out of town that it felt peaceful and in touch with nature. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were quiet and felt secure.
